Once you become pregnant you have to be very careful about everything. Especially with your skin. They become very sensitive and react to almost everything which you used to apply regularly on your skin before you became pregnant. So one has to keep a check on that.
There are some pain medications while pregnant but before popping up some pills, one should try to some other remedies with which they can eradicate the problems they are facing.
When you are pregnant, you have to go easy with your skin. Your skin as said earlier becomes very sensitive and goes red even if you try to scrub them at regular intervals. The normal facial that you do can turn your face skin red and it can turn painful too. If they have some smell or scent you might feel nauseated as well. That is why; most pregnant women shift to those products which do not have any smell. They start using natural lotions and body washes which have very little chemicals. It is a good idea to skip the body scrubs during this tenure and use a loofah which is extremely soft or go for some textured wash clothes. Do not use those washes which have things like triclosan and fragrance. This can actually indirectly affect your baby inside.
During pregnancy one can go back to that pimple prone skin again which they have left during their teenage. But the worst part is you can also not use any anti acne products to get rid of them easily. So, it is a good idea to consult a dermatologist and ask them to prescribe a cream or a gel which you can use and it will not create any further skin rashes. But the things which are safe to use during pregnancy are tea tree oil and lactic acids. Do not try to touch or squeeze the pimples as they can leave a permanent mark on your skin.
Some mothers can also feel excessive dryness in their skin. For that one has to drink a lot of water. This will keep your skin hydrated in a natural way and provide them as much moisture as possible. Try to use a gentle lotion at regular interval like every 2 hours every day. But remember, the lotion that you use should not have fragrance or a strong smell. But if you get some nasty itches due to dryness in your skin then try to have a warm oatmeal bath. This will give you some relief for sure.
When you are pregnant, you have to stay away from sun. The sun glow can harm your skin really bad. This can also create some dark patches which will be very difficult to remove. Whenever you go out of the house, you should use a big umbrella and wear full sleeves clothes to save yourself from the raging sun.
There are some pregnancy skin disorder medications which can be used only if the doctors prescribe them. Otherwise, it is not a good idea to use them.
